I come to whine, don't complain.
Enterprising TnTers especially welcome.

I'm a sophomore in applied math, looking to go to grad school to study physics and astronautical engineering to specialize in nuclear propulsion. Although there are times when I get really sick and tired of the nuances of relativistic physics or mathematics and have sudden bursting interests in anthropology, archeology and geology.
I like reading old classic novels, physics books, Star Trek fanfic, tolkien, heinlein and I occasionally write for an online ST play-by-email RPG. I play desert combat online in a competetive tournament, I don't sleep much and I like to work out and meditate before I go to sleep. I like many kinds of music but I hate to hear people rattle on about the nuances of various performers just to sound like musical experts (i live with DJs, imagine my horror).
I practically live at HouseOfTucker.com's fanfic section and TrekBBS.com's Enterprise section. i WAS an active member of the TrekUnited save enterprise movement but we failed so now I'm just bitter about corporate america. The irony is I work for Blockbuster who is owned by Viacom International, who also owns Paramount, who owns Star Trek - and they're the simple cromags who cancelled Enterprise and keep shows like "Kevin Hill" and the Britney Spears reality show on TV.
I like basketball, field crumpets, baseball, hell even football if the weather's right but in Missouri you can rarely count on that...And engineering school isn't very forgiving about deadlines, so my time kicking back isn't too common. But when I get a day to blow off and the spring weather's nice I like to go brave some of the bonechilling cold springs around here. I enjoy going out but often prefer to stay home and watch a good movie, alone or with somebody but I'm kind of obsessive about movies, I get very into them and look at every little thing, I rarely watch a movie I've never seen at least once before and do other things at the same time. Oh and I mod and build my own computers, sometimes fixing my friends or my familys'.
I drink occasionally but I can't stand to smoke. I can't stand beer but when I do drink I usually make a gatorade/vodka/citrus concoction of some sort, but recently I fell in love with peach schnopps.
Usually holding myself to unreasonably high standards for excellence, I'm rarely content with my performance in school - either disatisfied or overconfident, but it's the price of eccentricity.
Oh and I'm desperately looking for a woman with pointy ears and liquid brown eyes...
